DAY THIRTEEN: WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2013
Today was another beautiful day with lots of interesting ideas percolating. it is great to be involved with education becase our students teach me so much and make me strive to be on top of the design fields. Their questions are challenging and keep us on our toes. It is like those mind games that you feel your brain hurting sometimes. Have you ever experienced that yet? It reminds me of a specific job I had for a year just designing packaging every single day (in the evening I was doing web design, that was a very busy period). I remember my brain actually hurting becase I had to come up with original designs. The best thing was when the items were sold in stores nationwide, even better was the feeling that the Mishloach Manos packaging my friend’s sister was giving out was designed by me. The rewards of a designer…what we kvell over sorta like they are our brain children.
I also started looking into something interesting called rich snippets thanks to a student who took our WordPress course (I guess we train them too well in our motto to always be in line with the ever changing web design field) It seems very interesting and I am looking into the implementation and ramifications for client’s on search engines.
