Freebie: Create your own Chanukah Bag

We have created especially for all ages a fabulous build-your-own-Chanuka-bag freebie!

It is interesting how the idea came about. Batsheva F., a current student of The Bold EdgeJewish Design Central, sent in her homework assignments which was to create her own original pattern in Illustrator and apply it to a 3 dimensional gift bag that she would create on her own.

Sooo when I saw what she came up with, I right away asked her if I can share it with our loyal readership for Chanuka. Cuz, when you see dreidels, you think Chanukah.

We found a free printable bag over at bellesprintables.com (check out their huge variety of many different types of packaging and bag templates).

Then, we applied Batsheva’s pattern to the template, along with dotted lines to show you when to fold and viola, a super easy project for adults and/or to keep the little ones busy.

You can decide on the size you want the bag to be by setting the size as you print it out (it is set by default to be printed on 8.5×11 paper) You may want to print on cardstock so that it should not be so flimsy

What can you use it for?

Well, Chanukah presents, Chanukah candy, Chanukah food, Chanukah cookies, storing Chanukah Dreidels. You can also add some weights to the bag and use it to hang Chanukah balloons from it. Use your imagination, and whichever way you choose it will be fabulous!
