Yesterday, I was looking through a fabulous website called mashable.com. There you can find loads of information about current web trends. It is my new must-go-to-check website. I think it will becomes yours too.
What I love most about it are the beautifully designed infograms. You know sometimes you need to learn some boring information or statistics? But what if it were presented to you in a visually compelling manner. We as designers can certainly appreciate that because that is what we try to do daily: Translate our clients vision, or sometimes not so exciting product into something compelling for the consumer through the visuals that we create.
Anyways back to my main point. mashable.com had this awesome infographic illustrating the fact that by 2014 more that 18 million students will be learning online! That number nearly blew me away. Can you imagine! And, here it felt good to be part of this innovative way of learning. Isn’t it great to be getting great design training right at home? Even if you are not sure if this would work for you you can always try it out free just to get a little taste and to be even for a short amount of time, that 18 million and 1st student!
